CROSS CHURCH IN VIGEVANO With B.Vielmi

The late seventeenth century construction of this small church completed the sense of a rural place which had been destined for a long time to the joint work and to the stopping place of ancient transhumance. With a central structure, its shape refers to the Christian rectory iconography – the Rotunda of Anastasis, above all. Likewise the preservation work has brought to life both symbolical and scenographic aspects of the decorative system. In the project a small side yard will give access to fixtures devoted to public usage.
