The project aims at reaffirming the characters of the place and of the fifteenth century Florence art by the tidying-up of its parts; highlighting them without any tampering, adding or restoring.
The stratifications of the interventions which occurred in the history of the Hospital of the Innocents is reflected in the formal clarity of the courses: new vertical links will allow, besides a generalized accessibility to every part of the buildings, a visit which re-enacts the meaning of the various places of the monuments.
