THE DISCOVERY OF PIAZZA DUCALE IN VIGEVANO

The discovery of large remains of the fifteenth century fresco decoration inside the house set near the north east entry of Piazza Ducale in Vigevano revealed how the actual structure of this square is the result of a adjustment made in the first plan and during the development of the building yard.
A small correction, made between 1492 and 1494, which radically changed the architectural and urban meaning of this place.
